Salvare marveled at the regal blade that was presented to him. It was truly humbling that his cause had engendered such excellent response. "This blade is truly Immaculate." He replied reverently. "Surely the lady of the flame will be with me in this battle." His voice was soft as he took the weapon with two hands, gently as though it would disappear if he gripped it too tightly. "Considering the fact that you are presenting this blade to me, and not your Leader, I assume that you crafted this weapon, Kasna? If so, then your skill at the forge may yet surpass even your prowess with the blade - and that is no small feat." He offered respectfully with genuine admiration in his voice. Salvare had always admired those who did great work at the anvil, for it was a skill which he did not possess, though not for lack of trying.
It was then that his wife, to whom he had given a special assignment, arrived to collect both Kasna and the young Jason, who was close by as well, Though Salvare had not yet greeted him. "Hello, Amula. I had not yet told Kasna about the special assignment I have for her." He turned his gaze to the leader of the Silver Flame, Neres. "My dear Neres, as Kasna has mentioned, Jason and herself have been of help to my realm in the past, and as such, I would like their assistance in another matter, if you don't mind my borrowing a member of your unit."
"Kasna, Jace, You were both more than assets with the tower investigation, and I would call upon your skills again, since you are both at my disposal on this venture. Our force is large, and many are less than adequately trained. We need knowledge preemptively to ensure our swift victory with as little loss as possible." His eyes were beseeching. "Would you both join my wife and my young protege here on this scouting mission?" He asked. It was strange to hear a true question coming from the Lord's mouth, as though they could say no.
Jason still felt a little strange standing there with the Lord of Arigel and the Maidens of the Silver Flame. He felt a little like an eavesdropper on a war meeting or whatever it was that important people did to organize things. Maybe that's exactly what it was. He had never been terrbily comfortable with authority, a product of his upbringing no doubt.
When his name was spoken not just by Kasna, but by the Lord himself, the Claymore stiffened. "You want us to go on this special mission for you? I could understand Kasna, but..." He looked at the crowd who all seemed to be watching the scene. "I mean, ofcourse I'll help out. Fighting is Fighting. And Orders are Orders." He replied simply, looked to Amula. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Lady of Fellwind before. A pleasure." He grinned slightly, putting on his best brigand face. Sarcasm was the mark of a Claymore, after all.
