Lord Jamar had wasted no time with having his followers set up camp in the area. Looking to gather more followers as he was seeking to claim more lands in the south and push back the annoying army of humans and there pets from trying to claim the area back for them. He didn't think they deserved such lands. There the ones that had killed these lands and had treated his kind and other kinds like low life monsters...and so what better way to make them pay for his suffering then to rid them of this earth. But at the current moment he was looking for a second in command to help lead his followers for a victory regardless of the large human mass that might be heading there way. He was dressed in his armor and was walking around the camp looking for anyone that might just have the extra edge he wanted. Then again he might just go out and find himself a slave to feel his other needs.

The dead of night is the Vampire's favorite ally. This is only natural. What is unnatural is a man awake at the same time as these blood craving fiends, and lurking a mere walk from their encampment. This, stunningly enough, is exactly what Laughingstok is doing at this very moment. He grew up with only legends and stories of the dark and dangerous 'people' of the Alps. He simply couldn't help himself from finding his way in. Thankfully this particular encampment had chosen to push it's own kind's boundaries and try to extend territory. This made Stok's task of making his way to observation distance much easier than it could have been.
He sat cross legged on the ground, watching the huddle of slaves and blood suckers go about their nightly buisness. His steel blue eyes weren't impressively adjusted to the dark for a human, but the moon was full and the clouds were away. He could see fine, even in the cover of the wilderness. His tempered plated armor was finely spread out, so it would not clink together when he decided to approach. It covered only his chest, forearms, thighs and shins. The rest softly padded by leather spalders and commoner's clothing, which kept him warm enough to feel comfortable in the crisp cool of the mountains. What would have drawn attention, had he been in the open, would be the steel gray mask he wore upon his face, and it's scratched smile spread acrossed the lower half.
Stok's decision was made up in a moment. He realized an hour back the slaves would make his beating heart inconspicuous, and thus stalked around the treeline to a particularly close side of the camp. He had a hand each on the dual rapier at each side of his belt too keep them from dangling, and the small leather hex bags caused no noise at all. He made a crouched dash for the back of a tent, and reached the point of no return.
(is that bottom thing his what is he thinking or are you asking me? lol)
It was the wrong tent to have been taking a daring dash into as it had been the one that the Lord Jamar was in at this current moment going over maps of the area and making his own marks on it for plans on taking over more land. When the daring lad had rushed in from the back of the tent. His cold eyes had turned towards him as he had quickly picked up on his features. His armor and the mask. A daring lad indeed and his steirn cold look had quickly turned into an evil smirk as he licked at a fang in the back with his tongue before grabbing a sword he had laid on the map to keep it flat.

"Well this was possibly the worst decision i've ever made." Stok thought immediately upon spying the Vampiric Lord who's privacy he had just invaded. "I don't suppose you're feeling particularly like sitting down and having a chat with a human or..."
Stok mostly spoke to save for time. While he did, hopefully keeping his tent-companion distracted as he reached into his pocket. his hand was currently lightly and inconspicuously gripping a hex bag on his belt.
Lord Jamar eyed him as he moved closer to him. "Your be dead before you reach the end of the camp.....so I suggest anything that is in your hand your just leave it....and take a seat"He said with an evil smirk on his face before he had walked over to a cabinet in his tent and pulled out a bottle of wine. "Mmmm or I could just kill you now if you prefer.....but believe me there both be just as painful.....what possessed you to jump into some random tent boy?"He asked.

Laughingstok relaxed a bit. Well, he's bought some time. Of course, how much he actually bought and how much the Vampiric Lord was giving him is debatable.
"You're rather charitable for a creature of the night."
Laughingstok said, courageously taking a seat acrossed from the blood sucker without a second thought. What exactly he planned to do if his new friend decided to bite out his neck, one could only guess. He crossed his leg and looked the fanged man in the eye through his mask.
"I was just passing by and i thought 'you know what? Vampires are a bunch of pushovers. I'll wander into their leader's tent.' Curiosity, what else? So. Tell me. What is it you're all doing so close to the borders anyways."

Lord Jamar smirked at him"It's obvious.....the humans want to take over more land and I am here to keep that from happening....,but I bet you go and run to them and tell them that....that is if they didn't figure it out by now...."He said as he sat down to glasses and poured some wine into it and then handed one glass to Laughingstok as he held his own in his hands."And pushovers.....what made you think of that?"He asked as he sat back across from the man who had jumped into his tent."Mmm I am anything but a pushover...your just lucky you caught me in a generous mood.....for I seek something else and from the looks of it....you look like a merchant anyways"He added."So are you.....I might have a job for you....and if you agree I won't sink my fangs into that lovely neck of yours"He added as he took a drink of the wine.

"Tell someone?" Laughingstok said with a scoff "i don't exactly have many friends in high places. The military was never much in agreement with my... hobbies." He said, accepting the drink and swirling it around in it's glass. He flinched at the remark about his pushover comment, quickly jumping at the chance to correct himself.
"Does being undead make you unaware of sarcasm? My bad. I meant "pushover" as in "you could totally rip my head off right now."
Laughingstok was only able to perk up at the mention of a job. Working a job for a vampire could certainly lean in his favor. Gain him some ground.
"A job from a blood sucking connoisseur such as yourself should be interesting. Lay it on me."
|^|Wow. Nice Going. You've Offended the Nice Murderous Gentleman|^|
"I seee....so tell me. What hobbies are they referring to?"Lord Jamar asked Laughingstok as he took an other drink of the wine and smirked at him as he hurriedly corrected himself."See now that's a much better answer....and sarcasm no.....that wasn't sarcasm earlier...I know the difference"He added as his eyes seemed to see into his soul.
"Though I had already put a wanted poster out there I am not so sure how many would be daring enough to go on a hunt for a vampire like myself....though I could just do it myself, but I have other matters to attend to. So....I am mostly looking for a young boy. A daring young lad who dared to steal from me....took my helmet.I repaid him by turning him. But now I want him back......for personal reasons I might add. So you want to go on some wild hunt for me and bring him back here to me?"He asked Laughingstok as he lend in closer to the stranger he sat across from."Oh...and the name is Lord Jamar....just incase you wore wondering"He said with a devious looking grin and a slight flash of his fangs.

"Hobbies... let's see. Murder, something we have in common, for the most part. I have slightly homicidal tendencies. The military fights for freedom, i fight for nothing in particular. " Laughingstok thanked whatever invisible force it was that allowed him to catch such a dangerous individual in such a good mood tonight, as he seemed so fine with Laughingstok's idiocy of earlier. He listened to the story of a young human and a helmet, and was absolutely content by the end of it.
"I'd say i'd be happy to hunt down a young vamp for you. Would you know where i could start looking?" And then hurriedly added "Mr. Lord Jamar, sir." Still with a hint of happiness in his voice. Less in a sniveling way, and more of aforced attempt to get on his good side.
"Freedom.....such a hassle of the word....the military never faught for freedom..."Lord Jamar added."It's always about power...and those willing enough to help the ones in charge get more power....cover more ground.....just like I am doing. In the end it is always the ones who has the strongest will and the bravest allies that helps to make that happen......maybe the word is in the back of there mind, but what it really is for is for power"He said as he took a long drink of his wine "Mmm as for the boy....I have no clue as to where he might be or where he might be now....I encountered him a while back....so he can be anywhere now"He told Laughingstok as he tilted his head slightly."So a murderer huh.....can you control it...or it is some nervous tick you can't control?"He added with seriousness in his tone though he had been serious the whole time, but he didn;t need this young man mistaking his want for the young man for something to be brought back dead to him. Though he knew the lad was stronger then that and that was why he wanted him back so badly.

"Well that's one way to look at it, Jamar. Little grim for my taste." Laughingstok said, setting his own cup down onto the table, and rising from his seat. He began to wander, examining the walls of the tent and it's contents. "As for my... thing... i have a handle on it just fine. Except when I'm drunk. I assume that means you want him back alive, then?"
Stok said, pacing back to the bacl of his chair. "Pity, i've never killed a Vamp before. I'm sure it's loads of fun." He said with a smile his equally happy mask concealed. "Can you at least tell me where I'm looking? Heck i'll start tonight. I didn't have any other plans."
Lord Jamar smirked at him"Mmm sounds like a problem your having a hard time with...."He said as he stood up as he watched him pace around the tent expecting things before stopping of the back of his chair .
"Yes of course I want him alive....,but that is better said then done knowing how some can't help themselves....and He might be in the cities north of here....probably. I heard his hanging out with a hunter or something like that....from what I been told. Looks like his this persons new pet in return for his life. I heard rumors that he had been caught feeding and begged for his life"He said with a smirk."So he was probably put to work....the lad has no skills other thing being a thief ,but for the one he is with...it would be more of a challenge to take him from him.....you have no problems taking them out to bring him to be do you?"He asked."I mean if you can handle it....if not I'll ask someone else...or postpone us moving forward...there be annoyed, but there still follow me...I am afterall...there master"He said with an other smirk. "And here"He said as he had took a small drawing from a book on one of the shelves as he walked by the man. "This s a drawing of what Soul looks like."He added."If that helps you any....,but that's all I have on him so far"He added.
"Upper cities... alrighty then..." Laughingstok said, taking the drawing of Soul from lord jamar. "Soul, huh? Unique name. Not to be insensitive but, do you guys have one of those? I mean, i'm not even too sure i have one of those so, y'know." Stok said, looking the picture up and down. Resonably normal dude, a tad easy to lose in a crowd but not impossible to find. He held up the paper and nodded in a 'thanks' gesture. He headed back toward the entry flap in the tent. When he had reached it, he lifted his head and turned back toward Jamar.
"Say, Lord Jamar. A sudden realization has just hit me. Think you could get me out of here without, yknow, getting my throat ripped out. I'll be taking my leave now. This was fun. We should do it again when i bring in your boy here."
|^|That would be a good thing, not getting killed. Laughingstok will make his exit after Lord Jamar assures his safety.|^|
Lord Jamar smirked at his question"The darkness of being a vampire slowly eats it away.....sooner or later we all turn into some type of monster.....they usually classified it as a class x vampire....I don't think I am that far gone just yet,but I still hate the human race.....there only purpose is food and pleasure."He said wth an evil grin as he walked over towards him and nodded"Sure sure....just keep the paper on you and you should be fine....just be careful what humans you show it to....they might just go try to kill him just to make my blood boil. It isn't wise to cross me....I don't play nice..and I rarely...raely let anyone go....even more so one that storms into my tent late at night"He added and waved his hand."You have my scent on you....your clear to go....no one will stop you just probably glare...and if they do come up to you...show them the drawing"He added.
