"Mmmmm peppy. You're such a bag of fun. See ya captain." Stok put his two fingers to his forehead and gave a little trucker salute, before turning out the tent. He took the short route, right through the center of the camp. A couple vampires gawked, some didn't notice due to Jamar's scent until they heard Stok's beating heart. Before long Stok had marched out, even wondering how the hell he just made it out. 'What the frick just happened.' He thought with a laugh. He would keep walking until sundown and clear out of the alps, on his way towards his next target.

|^|After the events which took place in my Drunken Roleplay Contest entry.|^|
Stok found himself on the outskirts of a bustling trade town. This was the closest one to the camp, so naturally Stok's first place to start. Laughingstok, without even a second thought as to what he had discovered about himself the night before, set his mind towards the Vampire he was sent to capture. He began to walk further into the town's caravan district. Booths set up along a stretch about a hundred meters long, various items and weapons. Stok thought he even saw a stall selling some kind of jewlrey a rather wealthy man was very interested in.
"... sir i assure you my quints..." was all Laughingstok cared to catch of their conversation. Whatever a quint was was none of his concern. It was the end of the day for salesmen. Some had already gathered their things here and there. Many were making their last passes. Yelling all sorts of things about one day only sales ending and almost out's. Stok had no coin to spare, so it didn't much matter what they were selling.
Stok tugged at the whip now wrapped around his torso like a sash. Recently acquired, he figured it'd be useful in the task ahead. He was very eager to try it out. He pulled the scrap of parchment from inside his breastplate with Soul's face on it. He approached a bored looking plump baker.
"Excuse me, sir. I'm looking for a man. Probably a douchebag, following around a slightly more intimidating man like a servant. You know the type." He said, unfolding the parchment Jamar had given him and showing it to the baker, who looked less than impressed.
|^|Didn't Jamar say to be careful who you show that to???|^|
(hehe of course) Though the baker didn't seem very impressed with the picture that Stok showed to him there was of course someone else that seemed interested in what kind of picture this person looked like that seemed to be wanted by the guy holding it up. But it caught the attention of someone no one would really expect. A young boy who had been passing by after gathering more stuff for traps and other things with the little coin he had that the old lady gave him. He paused as he glanced in the direction of the two exchanging words or look and walked over to them while eating an apple he had bought earlier. "A man with a servant?'He asked Stok."Can I see the drawing?'He asked eagerly.

Laughingstok turned back towards the young boy. He looked even younger than stok himself. He raised an eyebrow not really in surprise, but rather question. "Hm? Oh yeah sure."
He pulled the drawing away from the merchant, who seemed to care less about the conversation turning away from him as well. Stok held the paper up at chin level for the young man. The two were about three feet apart. The dying light had continued it's fading. The last bit of it's rays were now shining dully against Stok's unpolished mask and armor. He rested his other hand on the wip he wore like a sash.
Tucker moved a bit closer as he looked at the drawing and tilited his head as if he tried to remember if he saw this man before and he took note that Stok was haveing his hand on his whip like a sash maybe unsure of who he shown this picture to or untrusting of others. He smiled at him and nodded his head. "Mister.....who is looking for this man?"He asked him curiously as he moved in closer keeping an eye on the whip most of the time before his young eyes looked up at Stok trying to search his eyes behind his mask. He wonder why he wore a mask. But he shook the thought aside.

Stok reshifted himself so that his hands were on his hips, the paper remaining casually in his hand. He spoke without missing a beat to Tucker.
"An old friend of his. Asked me to find him. The guy's very busy so he couldn't come himself, but they have quite a history together from what he told me."
Of course, this was a bold faced lie. Rather, a bold masked lie given the circumstances. It is clear from our perspective that this was given a bit of thought by Stok. He spoke casually and smoothly as if talking to a friend in a tavern.

Tucker nodded his head "Hmmm...a friend you say...interesting. So....can I come with....I mean to look for this fellow "He said as he looked at the pic again then up at Stok. "I have nothing else better to do around here.....so think it's time to leave the nest"He said even though he was still a child he was very eager to just go on some kind of adventure. He knew the old lady wouldn't be to far behind if he did end up going somewhere.
Tucker huffed slightly at what Stok had said to him.Kid he hated the word and even more so when he patted him on the shoulder as he walked past him. "Well maybe I do and maybe I don't,but I know your lying...and I have a better way of tracking things down....you got a copy of that picture is that the only one?'He asked with a smirk on his face.

Stok stopped, not turning to face Tucker. He breathed in deeply, eyeing once again the fading day. He had hoped to be in pursuit of the target by now, but time was against him. The day was almost over, and if there were other vamps taking refuge in this town Stok would rather get his questioning done before blood was shed. Heck, he didn't even know if Soul was in this town. He released his breath in a long drawn out sigh. Almost comical.
"Lying? Prove it."
Laughingstok mulled it over for a moment, nodding his head from side to side bouncily in thought. He didn't want another with him if he could help it, especially not one this young. Of course, he didn't know how fun babysitting could be. He'd never done it.
Whether he wanted to admit it or not, Tucker had a point. He was from around here, and if they needed to do some tracking Stok's skills were definitely lacking.
"Alright, walk with me."
Stok began to stroll, not waiting for Tucker to take his side. He continued his way down the now thinned out crowd. All that was left now were stragglers and shoppers making their ways home. Most of the merchants were packing up for the night.
Tucker smirked at him he didn't have to prove anything, but it seemed whatever he said worked and he ended up following Stok.
"So...you need some place to stay for the night....or are you just going to keep traveling?"He asked him curiously as he followed."Oh...and the picture...can I see it again?"He asked Stok."I mean like hold it for a second"He added. He was a very strange boy and he had weird ways of doing things, but he didn't mind if others knew. Besides Stok seemed like a weird guy himself with his mask and what not.

"I'll keep traveling. I'm not tired. Just woke up actually."
Stok kept his casual pace and tone as he handed the picture to Tucker. He didn't turn to look at him as he spoke, instead scanned the houses and surrounding trees. It was the dying a full moon tonight. There would be plenty of light for a mortal tonight.
"Of course if you don't think you'll be able to keep up? Need your beauty sleep?"
He said with a sideways glance. It was obviously a poke of fun, but no teasing could be heard in Stok's voice. It was very offhand.
"I'm assuming you're saying he's not here. So we can move on to the next town."
Stok could see the edge of town from their current position in the growing darkness. It was still a ways off. A tavern's lights glowed on the right of the straight stretch. If they needed to stay Stok would like to know now. Otherwise he wanted to keep moving and find wherever Soul was holed up.
"Perhaps, but he might be in the next time...we would have to go into the woods...near by I have some supplies..and I can use the drawing to see where this man is...unless your rather just rest in the tavern"He said seeing him eye in and make a remakre about needing his beauty sleep. He smirked slightly knowing he was a smart ass type of guy,but he shook his head."Nah I am good...I just need to do something first before moving on....that's all."He added as he held the picture in his hand staring at it intently for a moment as if he was memorized by it.

"Huh. Need the picture. Alright then." Stok's voice actually sounded interested. How exactly this guy was going to find Soul with the picture kind of made Stok curious. This was the same curiosity Stok had felt about entering a vampire camp and throwing a needle about an Aevelium. It was a childlike curiosity fuelled by a warrior's capabilities. Completely imbalanced. This would be innocent enough it seemed.
"Alright, woods it is. What did you say your name was? I might not regret this after all kid." Stok gave Tucker a friendly clap on the back. It was extremely awkward. He knew it was what Flaffel used to do when Stok had a good idea. He didn't exactly know what it meant, but he was sure it was friendly. He pushed forward, now reaching the edge of town and motioned for Tucker to lead the way.
"Oh yeah....need it for a ritural thingy I do....it'll help us track this person down...."He said as he led the way and looked up at him as he asked him his name follwoed by a clap on the back.It felt a bit awkward to him,but he knew the man meant well. "It's Tucker....Tucker Grey"He said."What about you ...whats your name?"He asked as he led the way for Stok to follow taking what appeared to be a creepy trail lined with thorn trees.
