Power turned his head to Keira eyeing her slightly before he unmounted his horse and walked towards them both. "What is there to explain I just happen to be around and I could smell blood..and hear a beating heart....so instincts kicked in"He said as he was closer now and he looked Blue in the eyes .He hated to see her so bad looking. "Bring her over to the horse...and we can get her cleaned up better with her tied to my horse....she can also feed a bit on me...so she wont go completely crazy....she's in and out of it now....she's fighting the urge to drink you dry right now.....revenge....eh....humans can be such nasty creatures sometimes...names Power"He said to Keira. "You can trust me...swear"He said holding up his hand. On closer inspection you could see he was wearing an amulet as well.
Keira scowled at him. "So you're hungry too." she snapped. These vampires! What insensitive beasts! She thought hypocritically. Blood, a beating heart, instincts kicked in... what rubbish! That is no way to keep people calm! And considering everything she had already put at risk trying to help this woman, Keira had enough of it. Internally, she swore to keep away from their breed for as long as she lived. She had had enough of these human, non-human creatures... especially these ones who beat at the walls of their stereotypes, these ones who still seemed so human, and also so monster-like. And they wanted to be trusted, taken purely at their word. Urgh! As if that was very likely. Her heart was drumming at a million miles an hour, she could hear it in her ears, could feel her own pulse in her brain. Every part of her body, her soul, her instinct was to get away from them.
And yet, that ever-self-centered side of her whispered in her ear like the devil. For all her troubles, still she had seen no reward, which she would certainly obtain before leaving here. And these creatures, disdainful and confusing and dangerous as they were, could make for powerful allies if she could play her cards right - if she could ever muster up the courage to trust them that much. That was still to be determined. "I have no reason to trust you." she said to him from the water, and put her hand up at him when he approached. "But I will bring her out. You need to back up first." She waved her hand at him, motioning for him to leave plenty of distance. "And I am Keira."
Power smirked at her slightly and nodded his head"Ok ok.....relax"He said as he backed up from her so she could bring Blue out of the water. He looked down at Keira knowing she was probably mad as hell or even just really nervous and he couldn't blame her two vampires out. One needing to feed and the other one kinda hungry, but he knew how to deal with his hunger, but first he was more worried about taking care of Blue and getting her better. He wondered why anyone would do this to her. She was always a very nice person and even helped be a nurse at some places. Why on earth would they do this to her. It put a bitter taste in his mouth and he ran his tongue over his fangs and sighed. ~Must of been hunters.....and to leave her alive....maybe they was hoping to bag more then my friend here"He said as he turned his head to Night and then tried to see if he could pick up on anything else near by that hinted that they wore being watched, but the only sound you could hear was a rustling in the leaves near by as he shook his head. "His back already....hmmm"He said as he rubbed his chin before looking back at Keira."Nice to meet you Keira"He said as he went to stand over by Night slightly kneeling as a strange creature came scampering up to him wagging it's tail.
Relax? Keira shot him a silent glare, watching him back up before she brought Blue out of the water. Seeing as she couldn't stand or walk, she laid her on the ground and untied her gag before back-pedaling several paces herself, leaving the woman in the space between her and Power. Then she nodded, indicating that it was ok for him to come close enough to care for her now. As for Keira, she would watch from her safe distance and learn as she had been promised to learn, about how to care for silver wounds. "Hunters hunt with a purpose," she told him, "They seek a gain. Meat, pelts, supplies from animals. Whoever did this to her was no hunter." Raising a hand, she pointed to the marks on her wrists and ankles. "They bound her to a cross and left her for dead. They tortured her, as you can clearly see. Hunters don't do that. Murderers, perhaps." she shrugged. "We made a deal, your friend and I. I helped her off of the cross and would help her get her revenge, and in return, I would learn how to heal wounds like these and would loot the spoils from her attackers." Keira raised an eyebrow. "If you are indeed a friend of hers, I expect you to uphold her vows - which, by the way, stipulate that I not be eaten or harmed." she told him sternly, clearly, so that they were on the same page. "And as I said to her, you would regret breaking such promises with me."
Her interest was piqued by whatever little tailed-creature came plodding up to the vampire, and she wondered for a moment what kind of beast would be dumb enough to come so near to a predator as these were. But, she supposed, there were a great deal of dumb creatures about. "What is that?" she asked.
"Different kind of hunter.....ones that hunt our kind or anything none human down and kills them...or worse....stuff like this"He said as he looked over Blue's wounds and sighed. "Some hunters do things quickly so they don't have to worry about revenge while others take pleasure on the others pain and use it to fuel there own.....they do stuff like this to make us feel grateful that they didn't kill us....and others....simply do this to lay out as a trap for any others that might come by to help her....though I wouldn't be surprised if this was a trap the whole time.....and they call us the monsters...."He said shaking his head as he knealed down beside Blue and sighed. It really pissed him off when he came across hunters like this . The damn dogs they had no heart. He could understand if it was done to a true monster, but Blue...she wasn't a true monster...not yet anyways.
Power smirked at her."You sure are a sassy one are ya"He said as he looked up at Keira."And that is perfectly fine...I am sure she would want it that way....your safe with me...but it will take time to track them down and to help you get spoils...if they so possess any...as for wounds like this....it's a delicate matter. Hope your not faint hearted"He said as he pulled out a knife as the little creature came up to him wagging it's tail. Power smiled at the creature and began petting him slightly."This oh I am not sure if you ever seen one or heard about them, but this is a vrikalo .Found this little guy in a trap....so I decided to keep him"He added. The creature was a very toxic color a neon green with purple eyes and a white tip to his tail and white four paws. He figured when he got old enough his mane would also be a white color. "Been teaching him how to track and hunt...,but he is still learning he is just a pup"He added as he patted the creature on the head before going back to Blue. "Keep an eye out"He told the creature before he went to work on Blue he assumed Keira would watch him as he had sliced his arm slightly and let a few drops of blood drip down onto Blue's mouth.
It didn't take long for a reaction as she had sat up quickly her eyes flashed red and had bit into Power's arm hungrily and viciously. Power winced in pain from the sudden movement, but let Blue feed as he then got to work on the silver on her forehead. Using his knife he made the cut a bit deeper as to get to the wound better before he had stuck a finger into the wound carefully. "Don't have time to do this the proper way...so....here goes nothing"He said as he lend against Blue and put his lips to her forehead where the wound was.Being careful not to hurt her worse then she was as she fed he had began to licked at the wound getting the bit of silver to come out so he could get a better hold of it before he took his knife as he pulled his head back from the wound and dug into her wound carefully to peal the silver out .Lucky for him the liquid had hardened a bit so it was like pulling out dried clay .Still a problem, but not as much as if it was still a liquid it being more of a soild was a bit easier to work with. "Could you help me with her arms....she will be focused mostly on me right now....I'll let her feed a bit....before I pull her off....think you can handle that...?"He asked her.
"Bounty hunters, then." Keira commented, making the difference clear. Her father had been a hunter, and she despised that the term would be associated with something like this. Though she could understand it, to a degree. Vampires were monsters, perhaps not as bad as she had surmised, based upon her interaction with this single woman and her newly arrived friend here. But monsters all the same. And for the right price, a person might consider taking those monsters out of the world. It would all depend on the highest bidder, she supposed to herself. And one's morals, assuming that person had any.
Keira looked at him when he called her sassy. "Sassy?" she echoed, somewhat in surprise. No one had ever called her that before. And yet, her feathers were ruffled. "Hmph. What's it to you." she mumbled under her breath, not so much to him as it was in response to him. "And I'm not faint hearted." she said, just before her eyes widened in shock as Blue latched into his arm with a ferocious speed and hunger. Much like a suckling pig with teeth. Keira thought to herself, attempting to regain her sense of calm through sarcasm. She half-cringed though as he began to cut deeper into her wounds to remove the silver, remembering how the vampire had complained when she had hardly touched the surface of them. And the licking, now that was unexpected. Still, though, the witch didn't seem to be able to take her eyes away, watching in both horror and fascination.
"I think I'll pass," she answered when he asked for her help in ridding Blue's arms of the silver. There was no way she was getting that close to the both of them at the same time. She also believed that her blood would be more appetizing to Blue than Power's blood was, as hers was fresh and living, where as what he offered could have only come from whatever he ate. And as she was feeding off of him now, Keira wondered how his hunger might then grow. She wasn't stupid, and she credited herself with that. It was caution that kept her alive, and curiosity that brought her into dangerous situations like this. "What is the proper way to care for this, as you said?" she inquired, moving a few paces to the left to better see what he was doing.
"Well you could either suck the silver out like poison if it is still solid...or...you can do it with a syringe, but since this has harded some it is much harder to get out then just liquid...I suspect that some had already got in her blood system and poisoned her...,but at least I can get most of it now...and if it isn't that much silver then it should be able to be cleaned out by her vampire blood...,but who's to say.....I only heard of this being used I never seen it being used before....but I have learned how to take it out...Blue learned it from someone a few years ago...when they discovered vampires being killed this way....a slow..torturous death.....honestly I am surprised she didn't die before you found her....she's in bad shape....and it's ok I need help and I'll got her if she does decide to lash out....which I wont let her feed much longer so I'm going to need help doing this quickly so we can move on....get her revenge and you your...treasure"He said smirking slightly .It had seemed he had ruffled her feathers by his sassy comment moments ago and it seemed to amuse him. Then again he did have a soft spot for human girls or just pretty women in genraul and this one was a strong one.It was an other turn on for him.
"So...could you please do her arm..."He said holding the knife out for her to take as he was finishing up with the forehead tossing the silver he had got out of Blue's forehead on the ground.

She turned her head this way and that, hemming and hawing silently as she considered what he had said. Gods, it was so dangerous. And yet, he was right about the time they were wasting trying to pick out the solidified silver from her wounds. But two vampires, both of them hungry, neither of them fully satisfied... But if she didn't help, her health would continue to decline. It was a difficult decision.
In the end, with great reluctance and caution, Keira stepped forward. Transforming at half-distance into a wolf, she plodded closer. Her argument for that was the hope that in a non-human form, she wouldn't look or smell so much like a food group. After all, the male had kept that thing as a pet - what had he called it? A Vrikalo? Sniffing the air, she took in his new scent and that of the pup. When she reached Blue, she went to her leg instead of her arm, refusing the knife that Power held out to her to use. Keira much preferred to stay as far away from the teeth as possible, and she had no desire to cut the silver out of Blue like a science experiment. That much wasn't in her. She would do what she could to loosen it instead and make it easier for Power. Licking at the cuts on her legs, she whimpered for a moment at the taste of strange blood, disgusted and trying to push away the thoughts that reminded her it used to be human. But she got over it, and started to have some success in freeing some pieces of silver, while loosening others. Her ears flicked about and she kept a keen, suspicious eye on the two vampires.
(Yeah the creature is one I made up.Nori put the info for me in the bestiary if ya wanted to read up on it)(btw my mini avatar pic is a pic of what one looks like)
Power sighed slightly as she finally sucked it up to help him with Blue turning into a black wolf and began to lick at Blue's wounds to try to loosen some of the silver up with little effort the silver began to loosen for Keira. He then winced slightly as Blue sank her fangs deeper into his arm to get even more blood.
"Blue...that's enough"He growled at her as he moved to her arm to get the silver out there. Some of her wounds were beginning to heal now that the silver was being taken out.
Blue growled at Power slightly as Power pulled her off his arm. "I said that's enough"He snapped at her as she just glared at him as she tried to recollect herself as some of the blood ran down her lips.Power reached a finger out and caught the blood slightly before licking his finger and smirking at her. "Don't want to waste even a drop....your lucky I had enough to let you feed this long, but anymore and you'll kill me"He said as he watched Keira work being super careful to keep a hold of Blue incase she tried to move to the girl. Regardless in wolf form she still looked appeasing to the vampire.
It was when the pup up had turned suddenly that had caught Power's attention and he motioned to Night to keep an eye out. "Looks like our time is up...we have to move..."He said to Keira.
Keira's eyes never left the two vampires as she continued to work out the silver. Combined with the iron of the blood, it left a bitter, metallic taste in her mouth. And as Blue and Power seemed to argue for a moment and return to their understandings with one another, the witch-wolf's lip came up in a snarl, and a somewhat quiet, but deeper growl left her throat in response to Blue's hungry growling. She was a perfectionist, and a perfectionist in fear. Even stepping a toe out of line disgruntled her, and she didn't care to watch arguments that she couldn't join or couldn't understand. After all, this was a much more savage state that was below her. Honestly, it appeared quite cannibalistic, watching one vampire feed of of another. It was barbaric and disturbing. And when Power caught the drop of blood from her lips and licked it, Keira wondered if it didn't border on psychopathy.
As the pup spun around, so did Keira. Her ears had picked up the noise too, making Power's observation somewhat redundant. She looked at him, backing up to her safe distance so Blue could stand. Keira would follow them, she decided. They were stronger than she was, so it would be better for them to go first. And besides, she wasn't about to turn her back to either of them, these creatures. These... allies-for-now. It was time to collect some reward for all the senseless work she had done for them. The fur on her back bristled as the noises came louder, and she nodded. Lead the way.
"She'll be fine for now.Help me get her on my horse...it'll be easier for us to move that way...let along catch whoever might be coming after us....and our time limit is about two hours...the sun will be up.Though I'm more resident to it then Blue is it can still hurt us or kill us so we need to get to some kind of shelter soon. "He said as he put an arm around Blue and looked at Keira"The other bag has a couple weapons in it if you need one....there moving fast....we need to hurry"He said to her as he wrapped his arm slightly in a torn bandage he made from his shirt before putting the knife away .
A skeptical, judgmental look crossed her face as Keira narrowed her eyes at him. Even in her wolf-form, it was clear she disapproved of his asking for her help. Again. What was it with these vampires? Ask ask ask. Crouching for a moment on her hind legs, she stood as a human, the same stern expression on her face. "You must really think I'm stupid if you think I'm going to go anywhere near her." she said coolly, as if the suggestion itself was stupid. What did he expect her to do? Link arms with him, hold up the crippled hungry hop-a-long vampire, whose face - and fangs - would be so close to hers? Not to mention being close to him, who had just been fed upon, and unable to defend herself? Hell no. Keira snorted indignantly. "You know, you guys really suck." she said, and took a few steps toward the horse, resolving to at least help so much as to lead it closer, before she started chuckling to herself. Suck. No pun intended. Clever.
Taking the animal by the reins, she walked it over to Power and Blue before digging through the bag of weapons he had mentioned. She wasn't much of a weapons girl - not that she didn't like them. She had just never really had to opportunity to learn. Still, selecting two daggers anyway, she turned them over in her hands and admired the work. They could still come in handy.
"Oh yeah I think you're pretty stupid indeed"Power joked as she was still uneasy about getting near him and Blue .He watched as she grabbed Night's reins and pulled him towards them. He smirked when he caught her chuckle slightly after she said you guys suck and assumed she was only laughing about the suck part since they wore both vampires."Here...take this for culaderal ok"He said as he handed her his own amulet. "You need to take her ahead....there is no time to really argue about this...there already here and she is way to weak to fight right now...if you want your loot I get it for you...but you have to trust me...Night will back you up if you have any problems..and so will the pup....he is in handing despite his looks"He added."We got one hour before sundown....so ...make this count ok"He said to her with a wink as he put Blue on top of Night and left the amulet with Keira before he took off into a run towards the enemy.
Keira huffed a sound of annoyance and opened her mouth to protest, secretly enjoying the chance to banter, but found herself without defense. Wrinkling her nose in a resentful defeat, she sneered. "It's a difficult to disagree with you, when here I stand amidst you two bloodsuckers." Her eyebrows quirked, admitting the victory to him. "It is rather stupid of me. But no matter." she said, taking the amulet from him as he handed it to her and placing it around her neck. Now they were getting somewhere, she thought as she examined it briefly. That was a nice piece of fruit for all her labor. And of course, the attackers would yield more.
"Who's arguing?" she asked rhetorically, happily. She was glad to be going in the opposite direction. Get the hell out of dodge. Did she care that she had to take along Blue and the pup? Not really at the moment. Despite having just eaten, the woman still seemed weak. Keira returned the ropes to her hands, but left the gag behind. Mounting the horse behind Blue as Power ran off, her gaze followed after him quizzically. "Wait, what happens after sundown?!" she asked, but it was too late. He was already gone. Not eager to allow the men the chance to close any more distance, Keira kicked her heels into the mare and whistled at the pup. They were off at a gallop.
(Nights a stallion lol)(and I meant sunup not sundown lol )
"The sun comes up...."Blue groaned as he lend into the horses neck slightly closing her eyes. She was so out of it it was scary to see a vampire be so out of it like she was. From the silver posioning her to the blood she drank from Power. It was enough to heal some of her wounds, but now all she wanted to do was rest as she closed her eyes tiredly. "The sun can still kill us."She told Keira. "That is why it is important to get the hell out of dodge"She added.
